Spring is here! What better time of year than now to start clearing out all of your old clothes from your closet. Make room for the pieces you actually wear, and get an honest look at what you need to add. I promise to keep this simple, and give you 5 reasons you just to need to Let it Go

1. It has holes. Whether moths got to it or it has a small tear, let it go. If the damage is minimal, donate it. Someone less fortunate will appreciate it.

2. Missing Buttons. If you’re handy with a needle and thread, by all means repair and wear! If  that shirt has been lingering around, for let’s say a year or so, to be repaired, Let it Go…

3. It has a fallen hem:  Just like the missing button, if you haven’t fixed that fallen hem by now, Let it Go…

4. It Doesn’t Fit You Anymore:  We are all guilty of this one! You just need to lose 10 pounds to fit into it, right? If you can’t wear it today, it’s just taking up valuable real estate in your closet. Let it Go…  Replace it with something that fits, that you will actually wear.

5. You Haven’t Worn It In Over A Year:  Before I proceed, I do have a rule of thumb for this one. If it’s season specific, it can stay. It would be ridiculous to toss or donate an amazing coat only because of the time of year. However, if you are holding on to something that you haven’t pulled out since God knows when, Let it Go. If it still has the tags on it, and it’s been 6 months to year since you bought it, Let it Go…
