I was recently gifted some products from Harmonic Freedom Beauty. It is a Black Owned skin care line based here in Los Angeles. Owner Nakeesa Allen asked me to try some of her products and I was happy to oblige. She gave me the face wash, face scrub, face mask, and the face oil to try. All of the products are 100% natural and Nakeesa makes them all by hand. Every drop felt like heaven on my skin!
Let me start with the face wash. It was light- which I loved, and it left my skin feeling refreshingly clean. I don’t wear makeup everyday and love to rock my natural skin.
Harmonic Freedom Beauty face wash was gentle on my skin and it just felt good.
The face wash is a castile based soap. It is made with almond oil, vitamin E, and red beet powder. Red beet powder treats hyper-pigmentation and fights acne. Nakeesa schooled me on the benefits of her products. Next I used the face scrub. It not only removes dead skin, it detoxifies, and helps to balance the moisture in your skin. The ingredients include brown sugar, rose buds, and blue pea flower just to name a few… Truth be told it had been awhile since I had used a facial scrub. My skin responded well. It was glowing. I was now perfectly prepped for the facial mask.
The Harmonic Freedom Beauty mask is so good you can literally eat it!
No really, you can. The ingredients include cocao powder, foti root powder (helps to reduce/prevent fine line and wrinkles), and chamomile powder. What I loved the most about this mask was that when it dried, it wasn’t tight on my skin. I could move my facial muscles without feeling like my skin was going to break. Another plus is that it rinsed off easily.
At this point I was feeling pretty amazing. I finished off my treatments with the face oil. It was so light on my skin, again it felt like drops from heaven. The ingredients include safflower oil, chrysanthemum, jasmine flower, blue lotus flower (who knew blue lotus flower acts as a skin moisturizer- I didn’t). I used my facial massage tools to enhance the experience, and slept like baby. When I woke up I was happy with the results! I love the fact that everything is natural, and I can naturally work with my aging process- I intend to grow old gracefully. Next I’m going to try her Yoni Herb Steam.
