Earlier this week I reached out to my brother’s and close male friends, to ask this question: “What Do Men Want For Valentine’s Day?” Let’s be honest, Valentine’s Day has always been centered around women. I couldn’t help but think, what do men get out this? Do men wish they got some of the attention to? Why is so much attention given to women and not men? We are in the midst of a world wide pandemic, most of us are living in quarentine, and relationships are being tested. I personally think the attention should be shared. Both men and women should be celebrated.

So I reached out to male family members and close male friends, and asked them- “What Do Men Want For Valentine’s Day?” Here’s what they had to say… and honestly ladies, they’re not asking for much.

I’m going to refer to the first gentleman as H. Here is what he likes for Valentine’s Day.

“I’m pretty simple when it come’s to Valentine’s Day. Going out to eat is up there, maybe some grooming products or a day spa with my girlfriend. It’s really about doing something together.”

Now that’s an easy one ladies. Especially the grooming products. What man wouldn’t appreciate some nice grooming products?

Next I spoke to J. He kept it very simple.

“Sex. Sex. More sex. Pajamas, men’s stuff, or a gift card to his favorite store.”

All very doable ladies! Take notes!

The next response comes from a gentleman  I’ll call M. Now his response was what I expected to hear more of.

“I’ve rarely ever gotten anything for Valentine’s Day. Most men I know will appreciate the smallest gesture. Especially if it’s done with a level of thoughtfulness, it goes a long way.”

Come on ladies, we can do better than this. M is one of my closest friends. I’ve seen him spoil the shit out of women. Never knew until now he never received a small gesture for Valentine’s Day. The take away here is “Most men will apprecite the smallest gesture.”  We don’t have to spend alot of money. It’s the thought that counts. Imagine M getting an unexpected small token of affection for Valentine’s Day? I can see his smile of appreciation already!

Last is D. He likes simple and Old School. Here’s what he had to say.

“All men love to being intimate with their significant other. How about a card saying something nice inside. Or even a voucher or coupon for an evening of intimacy redeemable whenever.”

Card and coupons. Inexpensive. Simple. Doable.

If you think your guy doesn’t want a little something tomorrow for Valentine’s Day, think again. There’s still time to get him a little something. Read what the gentlemen had to say one more time. Make Valentine’s Day special for him too.
